Our Academics
Academic learning at Paron Charter School will be innovative in nature and woven into everyday hands-on learning. Blended classrooms, outdoor classrooms, community teachers, and interest-based learning are at the core of academic instruction. Every student will have individualized and small group instruction based on their strengths and deficits in the form of intervention.

Blended Classrooms
Blended classrooms are arranged based on the student's interest, skills, deficits, or extensions. Classrooms are not solely based on age or grade level.

Interest-Based
Upon enrollment and periodically throughout the school year, students will take an interest inventory and learning styles survey. We want to know each student's interest and learning style so that we can mold instruction to fit their needs.

Outdoor Classrooms
Our campus will behold outdoor classrooms. Students will be able to learn all core academic areas in gardens, greenhouses, projects, and exploration. There will be campus and off campus outdoor classrooms.

Hollistic
At Paon Charter School, we teach the whole child. Students are intentionally involved in their own learning academically, functionally, and social-emotionally. Every child is unique.

Community Teachers
Community teachers are persons from the community, surrounding communities, universities, and fields that are willing to teach their trade or skill to our students. We will offer an interest-inventory to all students to help us search for community teachers.

Intervention
Data will be collected systematically to determine strengths and deficits in all areas. This data will be used to determine intervention and extension instructional needs.
